Coach Ryan Nosak has dedicated his life to helping others achieve their health and fitness goals.

At the age of five years old, Ryan lost his mother to cancer and spent his pre-teenage years using food as a coping mechanism. He became clinically obese and struggled with self-esteem and confidence as a result of being overweight.

At age 13, Ryan discovered strength training and his life would be changed forever. The results from fat loss and increased strength motivated and inspired him; and he slowly began to create a positive view of himself. Ryan realized he had a deep affinity for strength training and he began working at a local gym at age 15.

He coached his friends through strength training sessions and realized he had a knack for teaching and inspiring others. His experiences at the gym throughout high school introduced him to the world of strength and conditioning and Ryan realized he wanted to become a coach.

He attended Penn State University for his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology, where he worked as a student coach for the Penn State Nittany Lions football team, as well as numerous other sports. Ryan holds a Master’s of Science in Sports Management from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina.

Ryan’s coaching journey spans nine years across Division I college athletics, with stops along the way at Tennessee State University, Vanderbilt, Robert Morris University, The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and more recently, DePaul University. He has worked at Power 5 universities, aided in the training of multiple professional athletes; and has been mentored by NFL strength and conditioning coaches.

Outside of college athletics, Ryan has used his experience to inform and improve the lives of numerous clients who want to be more comfortable in their own skin. He specializes in fat loss, body composition, strength, and sports performance training programs. For more info about Ryan, visit his site.
